The Broken Spear can actually be found in your ship locker, not the locker in the intro mission! Only the custom Protectorate outfit and the intro codex are found in the intro mission, and you'll receive those even if you skip it, so you don't miss out on anything if you skip the intro. You'll also need to have completed the Glitch mission called 'the Baron's Keep' before Restoring the Past will show up. This will be fixed in the next update!
